Refund and Return Policy

Please note:

If the Membership has been paid for with a payment card:

  • All Memby plans are open-ended with a selected minimum commitment period.

  • If you purchase a 1-month plan, it will be automatically renewed every 30 days unless you cancel the automatic renewal on the Account Settings page.

  • If your chosen plan period is 3 or 9 months, the plan will automatically renew at the end of the commitment period, but the plan will become open-ended and you can cancel at any time.

  • If you wish to cancel your 3-month or 9-month subscription before the end of the committed term, an early cancellation fee will apply.

If the Membership has been paid for by immediate payment and e-banking:

In this case, the User may cancel the Membership only within the first 14 days, after which it is not possible to cancel the Membership. After choosing this payment method and after the expiry of the respective Billing Periods, in order to continue using the Services, the User must order a new Service Plan, i.e. in this case the Membership does not become open-ended.

Use of and payment for the Services

  • In order to use the paid Services, the User must select one of the Service packages on the Website, thereby acquiring a Memby Membership ("Membership").

  • The Membership shall be of unlimited duration, except as provided for in the Terms and Conditions, and shall continue until terminated in accordance with the procedure set out in the Terms and Conditions. Membership may be suspended in the cases set out in the Rules.

  • The User may choose an open-ended Membership without a minimum period of commitment to use the purchased Service Package ("Membership without Plan") or a Membership with a minimum period of commitment to use the purchased Service Package ("Membership with Plan").

  • If the User chooses a Membership with a Plan, the User undertakes to use the Service Package for a period of time not less than that specified in the relevant Membership Plan. If the User chooses a Membership with a Plan, the discounts indicated on the Website at the time of ordering the Service Package shall apply for the period of time during which the User undertakes to use the relevant Membership Plan for the shortest period of time (hereinafter referred to as "Discounts").

  • Membership shall commence and the Services thereunder shall commence on the date on which payment for the relevant Service Plan is credited to the Virtual School's account.

  • One Membership billing period shall consist of 30 (thirty) days ("Billing Period"). Billing Periods may not coincide with calendar days of the month. For the purposes of the Site and the Terms, one month shall be deemed to have 30 (thirty) calendar days, except where expressly stated otherwise.

  • The User may pay for the Membership by the following payment methods:- Payment card.- Electronic banking.

  • Eligible payment cards and acceptable methods of payment by electronic banking are specified on the Website. Only one of the specified payment methods may be suitable for different payment plans, and this shall be indicated on the Website.

  • When paying by payment card, the payment is made in periodic payments for one Billing Period. The first payment shall be for the current Billing Period and the subsequent payments shall be for one future Billing Period. By paying by payment card, the User agrees that periodic payments shall be made, without the User's separate consent, by debiting the User's payment card in advance each month before the beginning of each new Billing Period. The Virtual School shall have the right to charge the User's payment card before the start of the relevant Billing Period. Normally, the payment card will be debited the day before the start of the new Billing Period. By choosing this payment method, the User accepts responsibility for ensuring that the relevant amount of money is in the User's account at the time of the Virtual School's instruction to the bank or payment institution. In the event of failure to charge the payment to the User's payment card, the User shall replenish the account with the relevant amount of money within 3 days. Failure to replenish the account with the relevant amount of money within the 3-day period shall result in the User's membership being suspended at the end of the Billing Period for which the account is settled. In order to renew the membership, the User must contact the Virtual School using the contact details provided on the Website.

  • When settling by electronic banking, settlement shall be made for all Billing Periods for which the User commits to the shortest use of the relevant Membership with the Plan. Once this payment method has been chosen and the relevant Billing Periods have elapsed, the User must subscribe to a new Service Plan in order to continue to use the Services, i.e. the Membership does not become open-ended.

  • The Services ordered shall only be available to the User for the Billing Period for which the Services are billed.

  • After the expiry of the shortest period of time specified in the User's Membership Plan for which he/she has committed to use the relevant Membership Plan, the Membership shall become perpetual. If the Membership becomes open-ended or if the User chooses a Membership without a Plan, the User shall pay for the Service Package comprising the Membership at the prices applicable for the relevant Billing Period as set out on the Website. If the Membership becomes open-ended, the payment amount shall remain the same as when the Plan was purchased, i.e. with Discounts.

  • The User has the right to terminate the Membership at any time by contacting the Virtual School using the contact details provided on the Website. The Membership shall be terminated at the end of the Billing Period for which the User has cancelled the Membership. The User shall not be refunded for this Billing Period and shall have the right to use the ordered Service package until the end of this Billing Period.

  • In the event of termination of the Membership with the Plan before the expiry of the shortest period of time for which the User has committed to use the relevant Service Package, the User undertakes to reimburse/pay to the Virtual School all the Discounts applied to the User in respect of the relevant Service Package, including for the current Settlement Period. The above requirement shall not apply where the termination of Membership takes effect after the expiry of the shortest period of time for which the User has committed to the relevant Service Package. In the event that the User has prepaid for all Billing Periods for which the User has committed to use the relevant Service Package for the shortest period of time, the termination of the Membership shall be limited to the first 14 days, after which the termination of the Membership shall not be possible. If the minimum period for which the User has committed to use the Services has already elapsed, or if the termination of the Membership takes effect after the expiry of this period, the monies for Billing Periods prior to the termination of the Membership, including the Billing Period during which the Membership was terminated, shall be forfeited.

  • The User has the right to suspend the Membership once during the summer period from 20 June to 31 August. This can be done during the period from 20 May to 31 August by logging in to the Learning Platform on your own or by contacting the Website using the contact details provided on the Learning Platform. The User has the right to resume the Membership at any time during the aforementioned period, but the Membership may not be suspended for a second time during the aforementioned period. In all cases, the Membership shall be automatically renewed on 1 September. The User shall not be charged for the period during which the Membership was suspended. However, monies paid for Billing Periods that fell within the period of suspension shall not be refunded to the User, but shall be credited to Billing Periods following the resumption of the Membership and the Membership shall be renewed for the relevant period.

  • During various student holidays, active classes may not be held, but the User shall have access to the other Services included in the Service Package on the Website. These Services are not available during the period of suspension of Membership.

  • During the period from 24 December to 1 January (the Site's winter holiday period), there shall be no active sessions on the Site and the relevant Billing Period shall be extended during this period.

  • The Virtual School has the right to unilaterally change the prices and payment procedures for the Services and Service Packages at any time. Such change shall not apply to the current Billing Period, nor to any unexpired periods of Membership with the Plan during which the User has committed to the shortest period of use of the Service Package.
